I would respectfully say that "Are you Experienced", "Spanish Castle Magic", and "Cradle Rock" are instances where IMO the original version is best.

I was thinking of covers on Joe's albums. Cradle Rock is one that is close for me, but I still like Joe's version better.
I'll agree with the Hendrix stuff. It's certainly tough to cover Jimi...for anyone, but Joe comes pretty damn close.

I cant wait to hear "Seagull", it is one of my all time favorites. I hope the local radio stations play it. Joe has an incredible gift of making them his own.

P.S......this is off topic, but I just picked up the "Crossroads" dvd for a couple of bucks at the music store, cant believe what people will sell back to that store!
