This is one of my all time Favourite Tracks , after much trawling on internet found this rare clip , sadly not the full 9 minute version , but great all the same ....

I too, think of Almost Famous when I hear the name Stillwater.  Evidently, I was more incoherent in the 70's than I thought I was. I have no recollection of them, and until now I thought they were a fictional band!

Yeah i believe the film "Almost Famous" was based on this original band being one of the directors favourites

And i would Recommend purchasing Stillwater by Stillwater ..... with the full Sams Jam Version on it
It's Awesome .......... I got CD of album on e-bay

I think they done 3 albums in total , but sams jam is up there with Green Grass and High Tides & Freebird
