Big Brother And The Holding Company.....Cheap Thrills
My favorite Janis album, "Summertime" still gives me chills
Steve Miller Band.....Book Of Dreams
If he ever comes anywhere near you go and see him, he is absolutely fantastic live. He's been making albums for 40 years.
STYX.....The Grand Illusion
Wishbone Ash.......Argus
Had the good fortune to see these two bands touring together back in the seventies. They are still touring and putting out albums but there have been a lot of personnel changes over the years.
ASIA....Asia
ASIA....Alpha
ASIA....Astra
ASIA....Then and Now
They're back together on a reunion tour right now.
I kept seeing some covers in my mind and couldn't remember and then the lightbulb came on!
Kansas - a whole bunch of great album covers
Patty
oops...almost forgot.... Molly Hatchet had a bunch of cool covers.....always liked the covers on Leon Russell, too.....

He is on my list to see.
Bill,
I bought Captain Beyond with the 3D picture glued on the front of the album cover for $1.50 at Barkers discount store in Port Arthur. The later versions of the album only had a picture on the front of the album cover, not the 3D image.Paul
Paul,
I have the original too. I probably paid a bit more for mine...bought it when it was released. I also remember a Rolling Stones LP that had a 3D picture on the cover, but can't remember which one. Anyone else remember that??
Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Tarkus (inside's pretty cool too....and what an album!) Would love to see Joe throw a lil' ELP tease or two into a song somewhere :-)
CarljMD
Carl,
Tarkus was on my list of "deserted island albums", my favorite ELP album and one of my favorite LP's of all time.
I was waiting for that one Carl! It's like a little story to accompany the music, coincidentally similar to Pictures At An Exhibition in that aspect (conincidentally released nearly together in the U.S. of A.), which had blank framed canvasses on the cover & then cool interpretations of the movements as paintings inside...I actually made a mini-painting of the The Old Castle!
I am with you on that ELP Joe tease, but what?

Anyone else have those adolescent attetnion grabbers??? You know what I mean! Blind Faith.....Pink Floyd A Nice Pair....That connect the dots inside the Jethro Tull Thick As A Brick...Maybe only a Brit Bonabuddy had this one with me-Flash (with those classic '70's panties), and Flash In the Can too...Talk about British Rock!!!

Strangely enough I thought that one (cover only, definitely NOT the music) was sophmoric...but, maybe it a was chick thing too?! For me it indicated more than anything, something besides fingers getting stuck in that , and all guys know, that's not fun, no sir ree Bob!

I think Hoedown was an Aaron Copeland composition, nevertheless do you think Joe could translate that wild Keith Emerson keyboard action (well we know he can often emulate keys) into frenetic fingerboard action?! I was pondering the same regarding his "take" on Fanfare For the Common Man?!....perhaps a perfect teaser?!
