Topic: Bona-Byrd Petiton

Hey Everybody!

So Joe's Les Paul/Firebird 1 hybrid is stated as, "The one and POSSIBLY only", on the "Guitar Of The Week" page, and this got me thinking... Maybe if enough of us potential buyers show interest in the form of a petition, a production model would be made. It's not my intent for us to demand it, because if it's Joe's intention to keep it a one-of-a-kind guitar, who is anybody to argue with that? At the very least, this could turn into a cool thread that demonstrates how many of us would rock such a unique axe! Fire away!

Gibson Custom Joe Bonamassa Ltd Signature Les Paul VOS # 31

Re: Bona-Byrd Petiton

I would respect Joe's opinion on 99.999% of guitar stuff but he's on his own with the bona-byrd!

AD3Three of Hildebran NC 28637 is for the Bona-Byrd production!

Come on the Blades (sorry Idolbone just had to borrow your line)

Re: Bona-Byrd Petiton

Please add another.  LOVE the LP's, but since I'd never sell one, it would be be too hard to justify another

Re: Bona-Byrd Petiton

Wonder how much the custom shop would charge for a group order of 10 or 20 of them? Probably more realistic that than actual mass production from Gibson USA.

Of course I wouldn't want to get one without Mr. Bonamassa's blessing.

Re: Bona-Byrd Petiton

I was hoping this thread would appear! I'd love it if they made some bona-byrds, such a unique (and cool!) guitar

Re: Bona-Byrd Petiton

I believe that the more sig. guitars they keep putting out, the less they will be worth in the future

Ya I think it kinda dilutes the market. Just look at Slash or Zack Wylde, I no Joe isn't in the same league as them as in he would never put his name on a substandard product.
