Re: Joe's 1960 Burst w/ bigsby

Hey guys...
Basically... I decided at the end of last year to pair down my collection significantly.  It was too much to store and maintain..  I wanted a 5 speed burst....  I love the one that surfaced in Arlington a few years back.   Original owner... unique tail piece and 100 percent original and clean as can be.  So I sold off a bunch of guitars that never got played and bought one..  I love it and plan on playing it on the road... It deserves a trip around the globe..  Im stoked.... Serial #0-0137....

Very Nice Joe! Do you plan to get one of the Kossoff LP's when they're released?

I look forward to seeing and hearing that Burst out on the road. As I've said before…I am so glad these guitars are getting into Joe's hands. They were meant to be played (and seen)!

I wonder how many guitars were sold to buy that one.  Makes perfect sense to clean shop so to speak.  Pretty soon Joe's going to have the biggest collection of original 59' les pauls around!

And the beauty is he'll take them out and play them vs. sitting in a museum or on some collector's wall.

Congrats Joe!

Well he was in a room in a certain persons house recently in Texas that had 7 '59s was he not??

and he borrowed a Train Wreck from that person too (several Train Wreck's are seen in the background of one the pictures)

At least we know that pretty much any guitar is in good hands when its in Joe's.

...well Van Halen became synonymous with 5150! ...now Numero' has an involuntary psychiatric hold on some 5960's!  lol!

Vintage L/p's are great investments.....they only go up in their value

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........
