Well  Joe , I would love to see the one on the truck that has a killer top I don't think you can beat that it looks so unique !! Grovers. , nylon saddles still do it for me , bigsby. .. Well I wouldn't say no , but it will be better then bringing out another flametop a that's just like the rest of them , beano , Bloomfield, kossoff etc , Joe if you look at the Hal lenard DVD you did just look at the les Paul top on that beast , now that would be killer , and that would sell like hot cakes!!

Re: Tiger stripe Bonamassa model in the works?

Joe, thx for the info on a possible Tiger Stripe Flametop Sunburst JB coming out.

I'll sell 1 or 2 reissues that I'm not using too much....time to thin the herd anyway....

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

Joe I meant no disrespect to you, or your signature gear. I know what you! mean when you say Tiger Stripe, but I am a product of the MTV era back when MTV actually played music and the majority of the band had big hair and wearing Spandex while playing guitars with Tiger or Zebra Stripes painted on them. Thankfully the 80’s fashion is dead and would never think of wearing it even for Halloween.

Re: Tiger stripe Bonamassa model in the works?

When he said tiger stripe.. I thought of a Zakk Wylde type of buzz-saw stripping but mabe in wood pattern not paint.

Glad Joe clarified that he meant more like a flame top

Yes those BonaBursts where cool, a Bona-AAAAA-Flame that'd be really special.

(If only I had 1% of Joe's guitar talent)

Re: Tiger stripe Bonamassa model in the works?

The Bonabursts were all supposed to be plain tops. I saw that one and grabbed it. Joe even commented when he signed it. Subtle flaming but still very nice in my opinion. It is for sale if anyone is interested.

Nice if I had $3800 we could trade
but alas I'm crying the blues over a set of $350 pickups that will have about $40 shipping and $40 in duty
And I don't think you're up for a payment plan smile

Yours is a total looker, Spider. Mine's nice and all, but I have to admit I'm a bit jealous. smile

Re: Tiger stripe Bonamassa model in the works?

The fashion may be dead but the bands are making come backs.  The kids of the 80's that went to the shows grew up had kids and couldn't go for a long time but now they have kids that are grown up and out of the house, so they want to hear their hair metal again!!!
