No they aren't the real 59's.... Those two guitars are reissues that I had Kim from Historic Makeovers do.  They are great and really good alternatives to shlepping the real 59's to places where airlines are less than cooperative. I also have a black one that I used on BCC this summer with real PAF's ..  It was JB-052 in sunburst originally.  Kim's process is awesome..  He gets them to 90% then once you play them for a month the are perfect.

Thanks for the reply Joe. I didn't think you'd have the heart to have that done to one of the originals.
Kim does a nice job for sure. I saw the bonaburst as well as the gold top. They turned out great. Looking forward to seeing these beauties on your in Chicago next time around.
