Topic: out of interest..

Anyone know how many picks Joe takes with him on a tour roughly?

Re: out of interest..

I dont know about Joe but I get them in bags of 144 and restock when half way through a bag. Obvioulsy it is best to have a healthy amount on hand. Fans like them and you end up giving away more than you actually use.

Re: out of interest..

I'd guess he tosses out 20 or so per show.

Ask me about my handwound Great Lakes Guitar Pickups
Since 2010, Bonamassa fans have taken advantage of my JB friend discount = my cost + shipping. cool

Re: out of interest..

I really don't know, but it's true when you se Paul Stanley & Lemmy Killmenster & Kirk Hammett or Jimmy Page having so many on theyre Guitar , to give away or to play with,i'll think aroud 50 for every shows.
I was lucky to found one JB 3 plektrum on the floor after the BCC show in Stockholm in August , i bought 4 more on ebay, they are easy to play with & to old in your hand.

Re: out of interest..

It seems like he's started tossing a lot more picks, i.e. grabbing handfuls and tossing them.  I ended up with 4 or 5 at the Baltimore show.  People came rushing in looking for picks.  Clearly many were bona-virgins, so I just handed them out saying, "hope you enjoyed the show!".   You would have thought I was giving them gold!  What a great time!

Yep! Picks and drum sticks make people go gaga.

In Richmond, a guy traded me a drum stick for a set list, but then changed his mind cuz it wasn't signed.  Wanted to give the stick to my friend who is a drummer.  Oh well, there's always the next show big_smile

I managed to get a beat-up Bill Ward drumstick from a Black Sabbath show way back in the 70's.  Ended up selling it for £50 on E-Bay many years later to some guy in Japan!  LOL
