Topic: Future JB signature kit...what would we like to see?

Thought I'd open this one up to y'all...I'm sure you'll all agree that Joe's signature guitars, pedals and amps are all excellent, which got me thinking about other JB signature stuff I'd love to see released...the wah was one of them but that's actually here now smile....another of my thoughts was a signature Marshall head based on the Silver Jubilee but with a copper control panel and Marshall logo to match the pedals....mmmm......

That would be very cool-looking.

Would be cool sounding too...I don't think Marshall makes any amps similar in design to the Silver Jub at the moment so there's a market gap there! big_smile

I wouldn't mind picking up a signature BonaByrd.

They already made one. It's called the Slash LTD Marshall Jubilee 2555sl. lol

But I agree. I'd like to see Marshall remake the Jubilee too.

I meant a polished copper panel and logo like on JB's Fuzz face and Wah...with a spring reverb...that would be unique smile But yes, it's about time we had another Jubilee signature...

Joe is currently running a black 88 Jub as his main amp. It has the gold anodized panels. But yeah a copper panel would look cool too.

I knew about the Black 88...didn't you supply him with it?

Mmm...copper panel...copper logo...spring/digital reverb...and a nice little JB signature on the front. Sorted smile

Yes that's me.

If Marshall ever did make reissue the Jub, I'd be first in line at the local music store to grab one. Even another 3000 limited unit run would sell out quick!

Anyone got the email for Jim Marshall?????

Re: Future JB signature kit...what would we like to see?

If I had that email....the Jubilee would have been reissued months ago....because he wouldn't have been able to put up with my constant nagging big_smile Or he would have just blocked my email address.... hmm

I must agree with AndreS....a limited run of the Bonabyrd would be awesome as well...

Re: Future JB signature kit...what would we like to see?

What about a Copper Lucille? Joe's been known to play ES's as well. Would look cool just like the jewel series of Lucilles that were sold a few years back IIRC.

That would look neat...and very flashy on stage! It would make a nice addition to a limited run of the Bonabyrd....on the subject of Lucilles, I think Gibson are actually still making different colour ones...there's a lilac one and a sort of spearmint green one that look lovely (I've always had a soft spot for Lucilles....not to mention BB himself lol )

+ 1 on the Jubilee

JBLP (aged) 293, JBLP STD, JB ES-335, JBLP Studio, JBLP Goldtop Epi, JBLP Inverness Green Epi.

Re: Future JB signature kit...what would we like to see?

If Marshall came out tomorrow and said they were releasing a JB Jubilee, I'd put down money immediately

Joe, make this happen!!!!

My savings account wouldn't love me too much, but I wouldn't mind all that much if the folks at Marshall read this and started grinning, rubbing their hands together, and light bulbs going off

Re: Future JB signature kit...what would we like to see?

You are all guilty of thinking small fry...

...The Joe Bonamassa signature skills upgrade...

...I would be first in the queue for that one.  All the other stuff makes no difference.  No guitar god ever needed sig kit to sound like a guitar god that all just came later.

Re: Future JB signature kit...what would we like to see?

Finger transplants cool a theremin would be funny, but I already have one. big_smile

in seriousness, I'd like Silver Jub but Van Weelden has that already, dont they?

A Korina V gibson would be ace!

A cable with Neutrix plugs would probably be best... The cables he endorses now don't have them, and you only get 10 feet for $45

Ask me about my handwound Great Lakes Guitar Pickups
Since 2010, Bonamassa fans have taken advantage of my JB friend discount = my cost + shipping. cool

I haven't heard one myself but I know of two people that gig often and said they didn't like the sound of the Slash Jub and they thought the regular Marshall was louder.

but like I said.. that's 2nd hand info.
