If somebody could translate or paraphrase this it would be nice too. I'm assuming its about the Van Weelden distortion pedal.. -Seth
Nice! Man that TwinkleLand sounds great.
Peter's basicly talking about building the ultimate distortion pedal for Joe. He explains when Joe visited his shop he grabbed a cheap solidstate amp and said it should sound great thru this. They set out to make a pedal that sounds great thru any amp, not just a Marshall or just a Fender. There's some discussion about Peter's view on transistors versus tubes (in pedal), price and power supply stuff. The prototype is ready but no date is set for release.

Great vid. I appreciate it when they give a few of the settings these guys use. Anybody notice how loud he runs the Cat 5? That thing is smoking'.

I love 05:17 - "Whoops! I think I blew up the Category 5 again...!!!"

Totally! I am glad they zoomed in to you could see the settings. I don't have any of these amps but its good for reference.
Also glad to hear each amp on its own. Too bad the Cat 5 was being a diva!
Excellent vid. It nice to know the set up. Even for us lesser mortals that can only justify modelling amps,
I'm telling you…a Marshal 1959 with volumes on 8 will take the paint off of the wall at 50 paces!
Hey guys, just joined the forum. I see a pedal that I don't recognise on the pedal board. It appears to have 4 foot switches and is black. You can see it at 4:10 in the video closest to the camera. Can anyone identify it?
It appears he ism using it for a Leslie effect and then a delay. Looks like a multi effects pedal
Managed to work it out, I believe it's a korg g4. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong looks spot on.
