The coolest thing is the report that the Trainwreck tone monster is going on the tour. 7 days baby!
Rick
Joe should start charging for tours of his rig pre-show. All of the gear geeks would gladly pony up to see the all-star lineup of rare amps and guitars he trots out on stage.
Have you noticed though that the Marshall on the upper right doesn't have a guitar cable going into it.
So he's not completely using 6 amp's.. Looks like only 5
A Trainwreck? WOW! The only thing that's missing in that rig is a real Dumble... lol! The Van Weelden is probably just as good though, if not better.
Unless he's changing his mind, Dumble stays permanently out of the future. Joe is definitely partial to Van Weelden.

That is a bad idea, Bill! Charge for autographs, photographs, and hand shakes, and keep the amp and gear lectures free!!!

Understand, the above is a joke
Speaking of unusual heads in the setup, saw a pic of JB using an East head (this Jeff Bober's new company); I thought those were all really low wattage heads, and JB prefers 100 watts... Which makes me wonder, will JB ever up the wattage and go with Marshall Majors or Steel String Singers?

you mean upper left
More than the Wreck or the multi-amp rig, I'm impressed by the NOS, semi-aged nitro-painted Joe Bonamassa signature bobblehead.

Check the link SlyStrat posted in the "Cool Picture" section. Go to page 2, there is a pedalboard picture. Still has the Whirlwind into the Lehle 1@3 box..I'm assuming the 1 Marshall head, (top left), is a spare and maybe the now separate head used to control the theremin is not switchable via Lehle box on his board. I guess it is always running and he uses the Volume Pedal under theremin to bring it in and out of the performance when needed.

Joe has mentioned that one of the Jubs (not sure if the Cat5 or Black88) is the one assigned to the theremin all the time. You are most likely correct.
I wonder what the rationale is behind the Wreck.

Yeah; I remember reading about him saying that about 1 amp now dedicated to the theremin alone, not sure which. I guess since that amp will have no guitar signal running through it, it can stand alone and won't need to be switched on or off with the a/b boxes. I would think the Marshall top left (assumed spare head) is powered on in case one of the main heads goes down. I don't know jack about those train wrecks.. thought they were very high gain amps? Wondering myself how its EQ is set and what it offers being blended with the Jub. -S
