Hi folks! So during the madness of touring and album work we've also had to be sorting something else in between. Sadly Ron Sayer decided after the Mayall tour that this wasn't the life for him due to family circumstances. I'm sad to see Ron leave as he is a close friend and has been for several years! He will be missed.

Following this I also want to announce the new Bass man on the spot. Scott Barnes everyone! He's been rehearsing with us between studio dates and really fits the spot. His feel is fantastic for what I'm trying to achieve with this band. I'm excited for these next few dates as these are his first with us. Good times folks! Please send your positive vibes and greets! I'll be posting a little vid of this tour with him so you all know who'll you be seeing in the future, don't want anyone in the dark.

Of course, Scott can play too. You would never have guessed that tonight was his first appearance with Oli. In short, because it's very late, Oli has gotten 'rockier' and 'heavier' since I last saw him more than a year ago. He is still the same extremely friendly and likeable young man that he has always been. It is a pleasure and honor to know him and his dad, Graham.

He played several songs from his new cd, expected next March. I filmed a few, but Oli asked me not to post them on youtube yet. Sorry.

It was a lovely evening out with Bibi and Marco from Bluesmagazine. Check his site for pics in the coming days.

Nice evening at De Boerderij last night. Scot did very well! He looked very relaxed and indeed it was only because Oli said so, that we knew it was his first gig.
Oli has a lot of humour on stage and takes time to talk to everybody afterwards. We were with 6 of us and had a lovely evening. The opener was Leif de Leeuw with his new band. Very impressing with a young female singer Britt Jansen!

If anyone’s going along to Oli’s shows at Bilston, Ebbw Vale, Bridlington or Norwich in December; hope you’re in good voice as word is they being recorded for CD and DVD release sometime in 2013.

Oli posted on FB last night that there was a flood in his hotel room. He said water was pouring out of the ceiling. He laughed and ended up being moved into a better room with some added comps. Never a dull moment wink   Cathy

Some new merch too, t-shirts have a early 70's look to them; not sure about the girls/ladies panties though -tend to cut my circulation off something rotten...... hmm
