Topic: First Marshall Amp

After 20 years of playing, I finally got around to picking up my first marshall tube amp.   For years, I was a clean fender type amp/pedals guy, then bought a Jet City 50 Head a couple of months ago.  Being then hooked on amp based gain, I decided to just go for it.....

took it out of the box, plugged my Bonnaburst #16 straight in....


jaw dropped to the floor

I get it now



Amazing amp, a lot of tones in those two channels

There are some great amps out there, but it is hard to beat a guitar plugged straight in to a Marshall amp (turned up loud).

Yes, welcome to the club. You can still enjoy the Fender when the mood is right; but there is something about that Marshall tone

I have mine for 3 month now and still have not jet explored all the different sounds that this amp is able to deliver. And it sound pretty good at bedroom level, too. Checkout the following site if you havn't already.
