Topic: Silverface Vibrolux Reverb? Any thoughts?

I've never played one. They're 40 watts and 2x10 so are they like half a Super Reverb? What can I expect from one? Can it keep up on stage? Does it take take pedals well?

I'm looking for a small lightweight amp that can deliver a great blues/classic rock tone and not kill my back. Any suggestions? I use a Les Paul, an SG and occasionaly a Strat

Thanks
RP

Great amp!

Re: Silverface Vibrolux Reverb? Any thoughts?

vibrolux is not at all like a SR.  Different tone altogether, but a great tone indeed.  I would try to play it and get a feel for it.

the Silver face vibrolux is closer to the Twin, but smaller of course. They take pedals well.  great amps.  wont break up as early as the Super Revervb.

Awesome amp. I have a new one. They sound great with the two tens and the 40 watts is a nice volume. The amp is a good weight. I pair it with a vox AC 15 but I use it alone all the time. Buy it.
