Topic: Merchandise question

Why is there autographed merchandise available at a higher price in the store when you can just bring it to a show and have Joe sign it for free?

Blues ain't nothin' but a good woman gone bad.

Re: Merchandise question

I would guess its because if you get it signed at the show, you bought a ticket or tickets and then bought the merchandise as well. You could buy the signed merch on this site without attending a show.

I know this, it takes a lot of money to tour as much as Joe does, to produce and publish your own CD's, and without a label and an open checkbook I'm sure he needs to create revenue wherever he can to keep the ball moving.

Whatever the situation or reasoning, I can say that I have never bought one thing from Joe that I didn't feel was an absolute bargain, no matter what it was.

Re: Merchandise question

There is not a lot of blues dollars out there....support the music however you can

kws turned to rock, jonny lang to something else.....lets keep Joe goin
I'm really diggin this new cd

Re: Merchandise question

Most of the upcharge is due to the fact that they have to ship me the stuff and I have to sign it and ship it back once you do that a bunch of times plus the percentage that merch direct gets (well deserved by the way they are great) we need to charge more. I do sign everything and make sure its done right.
thanks

Re: Merchandise question

I'd be REAL happy if the merch table had some XL t-shirts at the shows.  Every one I've been to ( many ) hasn't had my size.   NOT COMPLAINING!!  Just want to help a brother out ant wear the colors.  Great new cd guy!

Re: Merchandise question

The new T-shirts (black, w/ the You & Me cover printed on the front) were available in XL & XXL at the Hagerstown show last Friday, so that would be right up your alley.  Hopefully all sizes will be available soon, as those two would be practically floor-length for me!
