I already set my DVR last weekend to record the premier of BCC this week.
It will be interesting to see what was selected of the DVD for Palladia to air.
Take care,
Bill

Damn! I don't get Palladia on Dish Network
Channel 567 on Direct TV at 9PM!!!
Hope they play the John Henry. Listen for the LZ intro! No Palladia here, the real thing again.

Have the DVR set. Channell 711 on Verizon Fios. I'll give it an honest try even though my opinions are well known. maybe something will change.

I enjoyed the hour long sampling of the DVD. It was nice to revisit my memories of the NJ show this past summer. I can't wait to purchase the DVD and crank it up on my Dolby 5.1 home theater!
While I enjoyed the show overall, I have to say that I was disappointed in the editing...too fast and hyperactive for my tastes. It did seem to get a bit better as the show progressed and I could finally keep focus on the music and individual performances. It's just hard when you only get a few quick seconds to focus on each individual artist. To be fair, I'm a guitar player and I'm a bit spoiled that Joe's previous DVD's and most of the other concert videos I own are produced and edited for the purpose of showcasing the musicians technique. This DVD appears to have been edited more for the masses who enjoy the high energy excitement of a live show and are less interested in staring at the fretboard of Joe's Les Paul and obsessing over what guitars, amplifiers, drum kits and keyboards (etc.) were used (LOL). Like I said, I'm spoiled!
NOW I can say I'm a BCC fan. I needed the visual with the audio. It made sense! I know full well I would have whined my way through a show, but this DVD suits me fine. Congrats to BCC, Joe, Kevin Shirley and J&R for another great product!!! Cathy
