As a recent convert of only 18-months, and a guy who thought he had seen all the guitar greats (Except Hendrix) until a mate played me the Sloe Gin track ...... Since then I've bought everything Joe's recorded and even managed to bag some tickets to see him in Manchester recently. Got myself another 4-tickets for Blackpool as soon as they were released back in March, and nearly cried Saturday afternoon upon hearing of the cancellation. So it will be 13-months from purchase to actually seeing him in Blackpool, but at least I can see him earlier in Liverpool.

Live from Rockpalast is awesome (DVD) but actually seeing Joe live last year was unbelievable, what a player.

Doc. Have witnessed some of the very best including Clapton, Beck, Santana, Gilmour, Slick, Ronson, Stevie Ray, Prince, Slash, but in awe of JB's talent

Welcome doc333,was in Blackpool too, but without a ticket.Bagged a couple from someone who can't make the return trip in April,so another trip to the charming 'Pool on the cards! big_smile

Welcome Doc333.  I'm late to the Joe bandwagon too, however that's because he has developed his style so much over the last 3-4 years and matured as a songwriter too.  Before he was a little too generic for my tastes.  I'm in Hants - I'll see you around the forum.
