Topic: Hello from Essex (UK)

Hi everyone...another newbie!

Recently discovered Joe following the demise of Mr Moore earlier this year......delighted to find a musician in the same mould but who also likes other musical styles too like Yes, Genesis etc.......just like me!

Going to my first Joe gig on Friday at the Apollo....my last trip there was to see Gary Moore so I am looking forward to it. Following purchase of the JB/Beth Hart album I've managed to persuade Mrs T to come too! Have also bought tickets for the Brighton show next year too as the Apollo ones were bought quite late and so are right at the back!

I'm trying to learn the guitar....but the fingers are not as supple at 45 years old..but i'll get there one day!

Other interests.....well, photography is my passion and life, I understand my website address will become public on here when I have been a member for a while.....hope that one day I can shoot Joe.

Wine, Alfa Romeos and West Ham United also feature strongly in my life for various reasons......but photography is the one that helps pay the bills!

It's not how "good" or expensive the camera is..........it's the photographer behind it that counts

Re: Hello from Essex (UK)

Welcome Tog I think you'll be blown away when you see him. I too am a big GM fan and have seen him live, as well as some other great players like, Gilmour, Clapton, Beck, Ronson etc, but have to say that JB is in a league of his own now. I don't think any of the great players still around will argue with that, and his live shows are stunning.

Doc. Have witnessed some of the very best including Clapton, Beck, Santana, Gilmour, Slick, Ronson, Stevie Ray, Prince, Slash, but in awe of JB's talent

Hi Tog, welcome to the forum. It appears welchchris' post was eaten by our resident bot. (get in  the habit of copy and prepare to paste when he is in a hungry mood.  roll )  Enjoy the shows, Mr. Moore was a big influence on Joe and you may hear some familiar licks interspersed. IDK why your website doesn't appear, length of residency should have no bearing, maybe another hiccup in the new servers. Cars, wine, music, all sound good to me. You'll fit right in here.
