Topic: Hello from Wiltshire!

Hi all, just thought I'd introduce myself here as am new on the forum...basically I'm just a 19 year old guy who happens to be an avid blues/rock guitarist, and a total guitar nerd (the guitars & amps section on this forum is like heaven to me  big_smile ), and also a massive massive fan of the greatest blues guitarist around today!!

I've been a Bonamassa fan for many many years but have never seen him live (although i had the chance to see him at the Frome Cheese & Grain in 2007 I think, as I had a friend with a ticket who was ill and offering me their ticket....sadly I missed their answer phone message telling me this and by the time I got the message it was too late...DOH!). Hoping to catch him live this year or next!

Peace
James

Welcome James - I also enjoy the guitar/gear section, even though I don't play......I think there's a frustrated guitarist in me dying to get out !!

Re: Hello from Wiltshire!

Thanks for the warm welcome people smile Great to be here...have already started waffling on the guitar section big_smile

Welshchris....release that inner guitarist!! You'll feel much better for it, trust me...:)

Re: Hello from Wiltshire!

Hi James - welcome.  I am a newbie on this forum too and live not too far from you in Hampshire.  I play around the South of UK with my blues fusion quartet.  Relative newcomer to Joe's music, gear and technique.  I have to say I prefer him now to his early days as just another USA rock-blues kid - he has matured into the real deal f'sure.

All the best dude.

Greetings Dave...

What's your band's name? Will look out for you guys  cool  I'm a big fan of early and current Joe...I loved how Joe used to play on his dreaded Strats, he was a bit wilder then...but much prefer how he plays now, he has indeed matured into an unbelievable guitarist with real power, amazing tone and flawless technique - I don't think I've ever heard Joe hit a bum note!! His voice is more controlled now too....absolutely the real deal.

Peace
James
