Really wish I could get closer to that tone!
I feel I may change my pickups, wondered lately if that's where my downfall is.

I actually ripped those pups out and replaced them with some JM Rolphs. That amp is pretty spectacular. That's Gary's take on a 70s Circuit Dumble ODS with some tweaks on the OD which gives it a little more of a classic ODS tone..

The burst buckers (II and IIIs) are really hot for my tastes. I totally dig them to slam a plexi or tweed so I get the attraction.

Those Glaswerks amps sound great! I ended up ordering a Bludotone, but these were my second choice for what I was after in a D-Style amp (80's non HRM Skyliner ala RF). BTW, I just heard that some of these are in-stock (no waiting) at Glaswerks for anyone considering. Just sayin.  wink
