Topic: And I have yet another issue with new parts :(

This time allparts.
Bought a neck, loose in the pocket, nut slot was too narrow, bit of wood chipped out due to that.
Had loads of fret buzz so went to loosen the truss rod...get this...YOU CAN'T.
I went to turn it and it completely came loose, and the neck is still back bowed a bit.

I think its Allparts, they charge too much for their stuff to begin with.  I've had a lot of luck with Mighty Mite necks and Warmoth although with warmoth I never bought a neck.  Are you sure the neck needed an adjustment?  Did you chek for a high fret???  My guess is they don't level the frets at the factory thinking you'll do it when setting up the guitar.

It was definitely the truss rod. It's fully loosened and it's still got a back bow.
Thankfully, they have agreed to take it back, after I listed the issues.

I may just go for WD (but sadly can't get exactly what I want) though I could pay extra (£295) and get SimsCustoms to make a neck for me. Exact specs.
