Topic: 2x amp set up...DC3 & ????

I been wondering if anyone could advise me on  pairing up my Mesa boogie DC3 and another small 1x12 combo??? I was going to just put a 1x12 cab along with it but then thought hey! Why don't I just get another combo that way I could mix sounds and if one amp should ever break down at a gig then at least I'm covered!! My biggest question though is how do you mix 2 amps together? As I've never tried it but I've always read about other guys from this forum who seam try it alot! I must add the DC3 is for the money the best little very very loud amp you can get their very cheap at the moment £400 considering I paid £1000 back in '99! Hope some can help give me some insight how this works as I would love to try it!

You run a splitter / switching pedal that allows you to switch your guitar signal to either or both of the amps.

I think it is a really good way to go just adding another amp when you want just a bit louder rather than geting a bigger amp and obviously it is Joe's appproach to gettting the sound he wants.

Look into the Lehle 1@3 switcher, it is the one Joe uses. Guitar Center sells it

lol I hear ya! So I take it these splitter boxes go straight into the amp inputs via pedalboard?
Has anyone got any ideas what amp I could pair with the Boogie? Was looking at fender blues junior but as I say I'm not sure!!

I now use a Jub 2X12 and a 57 2X12 with only 3-5 pedals. I couldn't be happier!!!!!!!!!  lol   cool
