Hi,
Since the Rockpalast DVD is not an "official DVD" I got a copy on iOffer.com from justlivemusic2. The shipping was not fast, but the DVD has good picture and sound with a menu as well. I would also say Live @ Paradiso is a must have. That one you can get on amazon.

I was so happy to get my pre-order today! What a brilliant album! I agree with all the reviews I've read. It's heavenly to listen to.

I've heard Beth sing "Chocolate Jesus" many times, but I love the flavor that Joe adds to it. It reminds me of "People Are Strange." It's a really cool arrangement.

I really love "Something's Got a Hold on Me." It's like being at an Ike & Tina Turner concert in the 60's. It's the track with the most energy and it's impossible to not be happy while listening to it.

Many of the reviewers mentioned "I'd Rather Go Blind." It really is an amazing track. Also, we've all heard the radio edit of I'll Take Care of You"  - but WOW - the radio edit doesn't have Joe's solo at the end which is just pure bliss to listen to.

Oh and For My Friends ROCKS!

Everything on this album comes together so well - all the components - Beth's voice, Joe's guitar, all the other musicians and arrangements as well as the production. They really outdid themselves with this one. I really hope there will be more Joe/Beth albums in the future. I'll be praying to Chocolate Jesus for that.  wink

I received my copy yesterday and listined for 5 times. What a great CD, the guitar work by Joe and singing by Beth is outstanding. This is a great collaberation.

The more I listen to this CD, the more I like it.  I love the orchestra in the songs.  I admit that I wasn't a big fan of the vibrato in Beth's voice, but it works for me on this recording.  When I hear the song "I'd Rather Go Blind", I sit back and think...Wow.  amazing vocals, lyrics that get you in the heart and the tone of Joe's guitar is one of the best I've ever heard.  My other favorite on there is the last song "Ain't No Way".  Lyrics are absolutely gut wrenching and Beth's voice is very powerful.  I just love it.

For this cd, it started off....It's Joe so I'm going to get it.  I have had it for a few days now and I have to say it's just incredible.  While listening to it for the first time I was caught off guard because of just how much I liked it.....and...as has been said.....it just gets better the more you hear it.  I love every song but one, and even that one is well done musically.  This cd is a must have in any Bonnacollection.
