Topic: New Guitar Day!

Well I got a nice little craigslist score yesterday. I picked up a Mexican Strat sunburst with maple neck and flight case, a Roland GK-3 pickup already installed  and a Roland GR-20 for 4 bills!

Wasn't really looking for another guitar I just wanted the Roland GR unit to do some recording since I suck at piano. The guy wanted $400 then said I'll toss in the guitar with case as well. The guitar is only 2 years old and I don't think the thing has been played but only a few times.

The GR unit was still in the box! The GR is very cool but there is a fine line between cool synth sounds and making it sound like bad 80's porn music! HA

Sweet score!  I too picked up a pretty good deal on Craigslist.  I got a Boss Tremolo pedal for $50.  Gotta love a good deal!

Very funny guys! And Nice on the Trem one of these days I have to fix my BYOC Trem.

I put the guitar threw its paces in practice the other day and I have to say its a really solid guitar. I have had Mexican and American Strats before but this one is quickly rising to the top. Maybe its because she is new, not sure but the neck is really solid and the guitar has a nice vibe to it. I think it would kill with some Texas specials in it. Will see, Though I doubt is will win the #1 spot over my Les Paul but it might make it to over my Ibanez Les Paul.
