Topic: What was Joe's amp setup at the 2006 Rockpalast show ?

Been listening to Joe's videos on Youtube when he played the Rockpalast in 2006 with Kenny and Eric.
It's my favorate band lineup and some of Joe's best performances with his Gold Strat and Les Paul guitars.
Does anyone know what his amp/speaker setup was ?
In the videos i see a Marshall combo 2X12 with another amp facing backwards to the back of it.
Wondering if Joe ran that amp into the speaker out of the combo or used a Y cable and both amps ?

Here are a couple videos of the show.

There is a Budda amp on the left and it looks like a Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker on the right.  Also appears to be an amp behind the Marshall.  Not sure if it is turned on and facing the rear or not?  I know Joe has said in the past he has turned amps around backwards in certain clubs.  -S

Good eye , thanks.
I'm most curious if he is actually running the Bluebreaker or just using the speakers from it.
With the amp behind it facing backwards and not seeing any other external speaker cabinets on stage , i get the feeling it's his Jube with it hooked up to the bluesbreaker 2X12 speakers.
Definitely sounds like an open back combo tone on either his Strat or Les Paul guitars.

I don't think you can bypass the preamp and go straight to the speakers with a bluesbreaker (or any combo amp) without modding it.  I doubt thats the case as it would be easier to just use another cabinet all together.  I honestly would guess he is using the budda and marshall together as is, and whatever amp is in the back was probably a spare(s).

Your probably right.
Sure would like to know the real details if Joe would chime in .

My favorite JB moment as well. The DVD is great, playing, tone and band. Opening track killer.
Only thing missing was the dancing girls from the first DVD.
