Watching my dog roll around in the cool grass just for the sheer joy of it.  Gets me every time.  smile

Of course just looking at my dog anytime is enough to make me smile... I just love him so much and he's cute no matter what he's doing!  What is it about dogs anyway?  I know, they're god spelled backwards, right?  tongue

Yesterday was the anniversary of Elvis's death 34 years ago.
Then I read this ..

(AP)  SPARTANBURG, South Carolina - Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann got her Elvis Presley dates all shook up during a campaign stop Tuesday in South Carolina.
The congresswoman from Minnesota played the Elvis tune "Promised Land" at a local restaurant and told the crowd of 300 that she wanted to say happy birthday to the king of rock `n' roll.

"Before we get started, let's all say happy birthday to Elvis Presley today!" Bachmann said.

But Aug. 16 is the anniversary of Elvis' death, in 1977, and someone in the crowd shouted back, "He died today!"

Bachmann didn't respond and launched into her speech.

They were both wrong.  The someone in the crowd was 34 years off the mark. As far as Happy Birthday, maybe she was inferring he was reborn at death.......just a thought.  I think she said it just as she intended, not being mistaken, in my opinion.
Stay mindful of sucking US of A politicks..all party platforms delivered from a pile of manure...

She must have some springs built into those back legs.  Funny.

All my dog does is scratch and sleep.  But she is a sweet social butterfly.

I do miss my kitty.
