footage that someone just posted on YouTube....doesn't look like joe presses on any pedals at the solo so i'm guessing its just his overdrive (with volume turned to 10 on guitar)

I watched from the front row and never saw him go near the board. He didn't fiddle with the knobs much either so wide open is a good guess. Maybe the '59 has something to do with it.  wink
