Topic: Joe Bonamassa BCC tone settings

Hello! This is my first topic so I'm not sure if its been done before. All the videos I've seen from Black Country Communion, Joe's using three Marshall heads. i believe that two of those are JCM2000 DSL's 100w and the other a Plexi or a Jubilee not sure. I recently bought a Marshall DSL JCM2000 and would like to get close to Joe's BCC tone with only one head. Would be cool to know the settings on the amps, like the channel used, treble, bass etc. Any suggestions? Also would like to know why he uses two of the same amps (DSL's JCM2000)? Thanks in advance!

Probably similar to his solo rig - i'll give you the general idea on what i assume his bcc rig is

one jcm2000 set for a smooth drive with high mids and bass with a low treble (treble 2 or 3, middle 7 or 8, bass 7 or 8) - no effects except probably a tiny bit of reverb and delay

the other jcm2000 set clean with the effects running through it (minus delay)

What about the other amp? I think its a Plexi or a Jubilee. How does he uses that one. I think Joe should do the same thing he's done with his solo rig with the BCC rig... Like explaining it and playing it at the same time. It would be awesome.

Somebody knows why he uses two of the same DSL's? And the setting on those?

Basically I used 2/ DSL- Marshall amps for BCC....  I would set them clean just on the edge of overdrive.  Then I would use the tubescreamer for the main overdrive..  That along with Electro-voice speakers gave it a unique sound.  I was going for more of a Kossoff tone.  Cleaner and not as buzzy as normally associated with traditional rock guitar sounds.
