Topic: Hello from germany!

Hi to everybody here!
I've read so much interesting things her and decided to create an user account....

I'm from a really small village her in germany - population is 50 :-)
I started guitar playing at the age of 10 and I'm now 31 and still got much to learn.
I listened to records and tryed to figure out what happend, learned guitar that way - James Burton, Scotty Moore, Brent Mason, SRV, Mark Knopfler, Danny Gatton.... I was a pure Fender player Telly & Strat.
I know Joe now for only 2 years (...shame on me :-)

I recently bought me a 57 Les Paul and added black plastic parts & the incredible nylon saddles to it.

So I still figure out my amp / effects setup and learn while I am reading the forum.

All the best to you guys all over the world & TCB!!!

Olly  (hopefully I posted it on the right side of this forum, I'm pretty new in that digital typing world :-) )

Re: Hello from germany!

Welcome TCB! I love Germany. I spent 2 1/2 years there(Crailsheim) while in the army back in the mid 70's. It's a beautiful country and I wish I could of appreciated it more as I was a youngster then and thought I already knew everything. At any rate, welcome again!

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

Re: Hello from germany!

Wow, the German fanbase is growing rapidly this month.
Welcome on board TCB and lots of fun here.

Re: Hello from germany!

Welcome TCB-57 ... and greetings from Shreveport, Louisiana ... the home of one of your guitar idols, James Burton.  James has a guitar festival here every year around the time of his birthday and still plays lots of concerts around here.  I met him this spring.

Glad you have joined in the fun and the Joe love ... better to come to Joe late than not at all!  wink
