Topic: I'm Larry. This is my brother Daryl and this is my other brother Daryl
Doh! I think I just dated myself...Barnacles!!!!
I will do my best to make this sound more like a true introduction and less like an e-harmony dating profile.
Let's see how shall I start this off.... Oh I know... (clear throat...) "If you like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain.... "
No wait...c'mon Jeff...think man! THINK!!!
Hmmm...maybe I should start off with something more formal like....
"Friends, Bonamassians, Countryman...lend me your ears!.... "
No, No...that won't do...someone has probably already used that...Hmmmm. Ooh, Ooh...I know (lightbulb is now in the "on" position. I will just be myself.
Hello everyone. My name is Jeff but I'll answer to Geoff (pronounced Jeff), Jeffie, Jefferson, J-Money, and Susan.
I have been a JB fan for a very long time and certainly will continue to be one for as long as Joe keeps on dishing out the goods. For me he is one of those few artists where I will buy his records with no need for a preview. I know that I'm going to like it and that's that. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.
I've played guitar religiously since the ripe old age of 12 (20 years and counting). It's like breathing...if I don't play, bad things happen. Thanks to a scholarship and lots of support and sacrifice of my parents I was able to be the first in my family to attend college. I have degrees in classical guitar performance, and computer science... Pretty weird combination I know. Interestingly enough, when I graduated college and starting interviewing it was NOT the computer science degree that ended up being the topic of discussion. It was the music degree....every time! So parents...don't be too alarmed if your child wants to pursue a music degree...do, however, encourage them to double major if they can. It's always nice to have alternatives.
I make my living in the software arena but music is and will always be my #1 passion (only preceded by my wife and kids...so I guess that makes it #3 technically). I teach guitar as a hobby and I also collect vintage amps. I am not ashamed to say, "I have GAS". There...I said it...serenity now...serenity now.
My guilty pleasure(s)??? ....(do you really want to share this Jeff????)....
1. Spongebob
Where else could you get such deep thoughts as these...
"Psst, Squidward, I'm working in the kitchen... at night! Hey Squidward, guess what? I'm chopping lettuce... at night! Look at me, I'm swabbing the bathroom... at night! OOOW I burned my hand!... at night!"
-SpongeBob SquarePants
"I order the food, you cook the food. We do that for 40 years, and then we die. That seems like a good deal to me, what do you say?"
-Squidward
"Do you smell it? That smell. A kind of smelly smell. The smelly smell that smells... smelly."
-Mr. Krabs

2. Daschunds... "half a dog high and a dog and a half long"
