Topic: I have gone Orange

So I parted ways with my old JCM 800 and became the proud owner of an Orange Rocker 30.  I did love the JCM 800 but it was far too much amp for the gigs I play (though it was rated at 50 Watts, it was more like a healthy 80...). An I could never get a good drive sound without a lot of pedals and an attenuator at a reasonable volume.   Though the attenuator worked great (Weber Mass Lite 100), it killed solo boosts and time based effects.  Anyhow, I have had an obsession with Orange amps for a good 20 years now, and that obsession is now over.  Really happy and the tones are happening.

Sounds like a very nice amp.  I have always wanted to try out an Orange myself. Does the Rocker 30 have a good effects loop?

There isn't an FX loop.  I have only owned one amp that had one and even then I never used it.  It is a very cool amp.  I like the fact that the normal channel only has one knob to control it "Volume" and it is a nice sparkle with a cool break up past halfway.  The second channel has plenty of OD for rock and hard rock, a great EQ section (oranges are famous for their tone stacks), and it takes overdrives and boosts greatly.  I am happy.
