That one almost begs for a ring wrapped around the finger if you ask me  wink   Enjoy the guitar and btw Shame on your girl friend for not waiting at least til December before she caved in and gave you the present.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to up my game for Christmas.  lol And I for one am pretty darn glad she caved.  cool I feel lucky to have found one that not only tolerates me playing, but actually loves it.  smile

Not that you're chomping at the bit to do this, but hopefully she wont get mad when (and I say when) it eventually starts getting scratched and dinged up. She might not know or understand the stigma of "mileage" on guitars or "personality" that is sheik when guitars start to relic.

I'm sure Deezer will be pampering this guitar for years though. wink

I had a gig once years ago and my wife (girlfriend at the time) came along.  I was talking with the crowd and not paying attention to time.  The band was setting up and my wife set up all my amps and guitars from memory from the last gig she had helped with.

I ran up to the stage with about 5 minutes left and she was upset because she could not remember which overdrive pedal when first.

I was blown away. She got a ring for that.

She's bought me 2 guitars over the years and neither will ever be traded or sold. I would caution anyone from ever selling a guitar your wife or girlfriend gave you... at least while you are still with them. It'll be the doghouse for you....
