Re: Joe and Beth Hart

Sorry a bit  of misinformation on my part above. Joe's vocals are apparent on Well Well which is kind of a duet, they both sing the same lines. Great album, I'm on holiday and been listening to it regularly in the car.

Let's hope for more than one UK date in November! smile

Re: Joe and Beth Hart

I just thought about this, but would Beth be considered a J&R adventures artist, since the record is coming out on Joe's label? Will she record solo records on Joe's label in the future, or is she under contract with another label?

Re: Joe and Beth Hart

Hi Ken,
Beth is on multiple labels - it depends on the country. I believe the strategy for the last few years has been shopping around the latest album by region. However, her last two albums were not released in the states. (Unbelievable.)
I personally hope this venture means further collaboration with J&R in the future. I also think it would be interesting for Kevin Shirley to produce the next Beth & Band album. I think it would be a fresh take on her sound if she plans to do another rock album next.

I concur. That song playing at the end of the interview in the background was awesome! Joe's playing was so sweet. And with the orchestra behind him.....perfect!

Thanks for posting this interview.  I got the free download of "Well, Well" and am getting excited .  Two extremely talented artists and the chemistry seems to be good.  It's ventures like these that I feel fits Joe's career path.

Paul, that's the Bill Withers track, For My Friend. It's got Joe stamped right the way through it.  wink

The track that closes the video is Don't Explain.
