Topic: GAS strikes again!

I was just minding my own business when I was looking around at some very expensive pedals when all of a sudden I find a brand new Keeley Fuzz Head as a scratch and dent sale.  The man told me it was shipped this way and was normally $200.  He cut me a deal of $160 on it.  I felt like it was a pretty nice deal and the pedal seems to work fine, in fact I couldn't tell where it was dented at.  Had nothing to loose because it came with the standard limited warrenty that it would work.  It will be a while before I can really try the pedal out though, we've got a busy week ahead of us.  But I'll try to post a decent video clip after I play with it for a while. 

I'm really going to have to stop looking around for deals or start playing the lottery!

It seems like for the last 3 months my spending is going crazy.

I started rebuilding the Pedal board and have a lot more room, I need to buy a couple more pedals. A vibe, Reverb and maybe a fuzz if I don't add the very old Mastro Fuzz I have to the board.

WOW, thats a lot of stuff.  Do you have anything left?  Are you selling this as a lot or individually?  As a lot I will go ahead and through an opening bid of every thing left in my bank account after buying a Fuzz Head.... pause for effect.

A wopping total of $57.73!  Lets say I'm ready for pay day to come Thursday.  hmm

THD 2x12?

That is my favourite cab of all time. The only piece apart from my LP that I've never sold...it sounds wonderful and I can't find a cab to match it yet...It makes any amp sound better.

I think your recommendation in my "what cab to buy next" was the reason for checking out the THD cab. And you're right! It's a wonderful cab and it's very easy to carry. I love the open sound.

And for the sales.... there's no sale! I have G.A.S. and seriously believe that selling is dangerous! LOL

I just make the copy/paste list since Dave said the magic word "List?":-)

Wow its been all week and I just got to play the pedal tonight for about 10 minutes!  Worse yet I couldn't crank up even to bedroom level sounds because everybody is asleep right now.  Seemed pointless to continue but I can tell you so far I like the silicon side better over all for the old fuzz sounds and if I was trying to copy a Copper Fuzz FAce pedal by a somebody popular on the board here I would go with the germadium side.  GE sounds great with chords and single notes but it feel like a boost to me, the Silicon side gives me (bare in mind lowwer then low volume levels like I can really have an opinion) the Cream compressed sound I was looking for.  I know I'm going to love this pedal, now if I can just get the band back together again to put it through its paces!  Ah maybe in 2012 we'll go back at it.
