Dave, come on now.Jimmy Page is one of the best ever and one of my favs,but don't go there.I thnk he may have embellished a riff or two in his day.I read that Keith Richards song writing technique is or was in the beginning  to play someones riff until it sounds a little different.How many old blues guys got their riffs taken back in the sixties by young up and comming rockers?Oh by  the way that's why I like the song,didn't catch it at first but your right about the riff.Here I thought something original lol we cool? Picked up Rival Sons "Pressure and Time" on Saturday. Good cd. Reminds me of Year Long Disaster.

Not a huge Year Long Disaster fan. Saw them open for the Cult and had the first cd. Same sound as Rival Sons but the Sons have catchier tunes. BTW Daniel Davies, son of Dave Davies from the Kinks, is the singer/guitarist for Year Long Disaster.
I am digging the Rival Sons cd more with each play.

Age whats Age 1969 record player Led Zep 1 me pinned up against the wall thinking this is it the sound my virgin ears have be'in plunderd, 2011 cd player Rival Sons pressure & time yes pinned against the wall my none virgin ears loving it.

Rival Sons have now released details of the special edition of Pressure & Time, which is released on March 12 by Earache.
There will be two extra tracks on the CD. These are:
