Topic: Summer Tours

With the summer upon us, there are a lot of Tours that are happening.  It would interesting to know what other bands and where you are planning to see this summer.  Seems to be a lot of reunions going on too, like the Police and Genesis.

For us, we just saw Daughtry in Myrtle Beach.  Planning to see Rush and John Mayer so far, both in Charlotte.  Trying to plan a Joe trip sometime in August.

Music is good for the Soul...

So far this year, we've seen Kenny Wayne Shepherd in Orlando and Joe Bonamassa in Jacksonville, FL and San Luis Obispo, CA.  We've purchased our tickets to see the Black Crowes at the HOB Orlando  August 24.  Plan to see Joe again Nov. 30 in West Palm Beach. Waiting for tickets to go on sale.

Melissa and Nico are going to the Columbus show to see Joe.  I will be staying back with my daughter due to work.  I don't mind because I will be seeing Joe on Thursday in Pittsbugh and Friday in my hometown.

I will be going down to Fraze in August and to St Mary's for the Bluesfest in Sept.

If you like Rock, it is a must see.  Chris puts on an amazing show.  It's been awhile that I have seen a crowd so into a show.  He has a great voice and a very good band.  We saw him at the HOB and my daughter wanted to be up front.  So we ended up right in front with a kazillion others....  But it was a lot of fun...

Re: Summer Tours

Still waiting for Joe to come through Omaha, but in the meantime I'm going to catch Ben Harper this Sat. night !

Re: Summer Tours

Roy - we are also thinking about Summerfest July 5th - Boney Fingers, Charlie Walker, Greg Koch, Rev Ravin and BB King are all at the same stage - we can just sit there all day!

What a schedule you have.  Well, I hope I get to meet you at one of Joe's shows.  Thanks to you, I don't have to wait until the studio release to hear  "Sloe Gin" and "Another Kind of Love".  I don't know if he's putting that funky version of "High Water Everywhere" on the new album, but that is also a real treat so thanks again and looking forward to meeting you.
