Topic: Mac OSX Lion *just downloaded*

I just did a successful upgrade to my apple laptop to OSX Lion.

I like it so far. Not faster, but more bells and whistles... there's something called Launchpad that makes your screen resemble an iPad - but if you don't want to use it, you don't have to. I'm trying to believe it's a lot like Snow Leopard because I liked that OS a LOT.

Well, I downloaded it on the first day of its release and was quite feeling good about it.  I think that that gestures are good but they are a bit hard to get familiar with as they have a variety of moves.  I like the launchpad as what you said, it resembles the home screen of an iPad.  I think that with the lion, they have taken the first real step in finally making a point where notebooks are going to meet the tablets and possibly iPhones.
