Re: wampler pedals

I have the Black '65 pedal (which can make my Vox AC15C1 sound amusingly Fender-ish) and the Faux Tape Echo.  Great pedals, both of 'em...

Re: wampler pedals

I have a Wampler Ecstasy.  It is a very good overdrive pedal.  It has three settings, Dumble, Boost, and Bogner.  The Bogner style is my favorite.

Re: wampler pedals

I have the Triple Wreck distortion pedal.  It's amazingly versatile beyond the main reason I got it: high gain metal tones.  Quality is second to none. I love it.

Gibson 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Reissue, Gibson LP Standard Faded CSB, Gibson Gary Moore LP Standard, Epi Joe Bonamassa GT LP, Epi Zakk Wylde LP, Dean Michael Schenker Flying V, Jackson Randy Rhoads V, ESP/LTD George Lynch Kamikaze, EVH Striped Series R/B/W, Fender/Squire John 5 Telecaster, Fender Joe Strummer Relic Telecaster

Re: wampler pedals

I used to have the Pinnacle, very good brown sounding pedal. Honestly I dont think Wampler make a bad pedal! check out Burgerman666 on you tube, he has tons of Wampler demos all high quality.  smile

Re: wampler pedals

so I went to the store to try out some of there wamplers. Checked out the Ego Comp, Paisly Drive, Plexidrive, and Analog Delay. Plugged a LP through some new Chinese Vox.

The Ego totally rocked all the settings were killer, probably the best compression Ive tried.

The Paisly was good but a little fuzzy in the higher gain settings for my taste. But in the lower gain area it was pretty rocking.

The Plexi was the biggest surprise for me.  It literately transformed that vox into a plexi.  It almost is making me want to sell my real plexi and get this, almost.  Ha it would weigh less.

The Delay was killer but at the price point they had might as well just get a MXR Carbon Copy same type of pedal but much less expensive.

All great pedals.  I hope they get in some of the higher gain stuff like the pinicale, or the plexotorion, for me to try out.  I'm probably going to pick up the ego after my gig Saturday.

Hey, a little late to the party, but thought I would chime in. I have a Wampler Paisley drive and it is a cool pedal. It works well with my tele of course but also sounds great with my LP, PRS, and Strat.  Wampler makes some great stuff.  A local guitar shop I go to just became dealers and I got to try out a couple other Wampler pedals and they all sounded good. The Faux Analog echo is a pretty cool pedal as well.

Guitars: Check.
Amps: Yup.
Effects: Lots of em.
