Topic: Hi from South FL

Hi guys. 

As you can tell from my handle I'm a car enthusiast (don't actually own a HEMI but that's been my handle in other places for years so....) and obviously, a fan of Joe's music.

I grew up listening to classic rock, and I'm a big fan of anything good that has a guitar, drum or bass solo.  I'm terrible at music myself (tried playing guitar when I was 16 and I just couldn't grasp it), so I'm always amazed by people who are good at it.

I'm a big fan of electric blues ever since I discovered Stevie Ray Vaughan.  I have all of SRV's stuff and I am collecting much of Joe's stuff.  In many ways Joe reminds me of Stevie in some ways.

I got tickets to see Joe at the Kravis Center Nov 22, can't wait!  Looks like a nice place.

Welcome Hemi. Lots of us aren't players either, just enjoyers of Joe's great music. There are a number of fans here from Florida, some of whom will be attending the Kravits show. Stay tuned and usually there are meet ups before the show with fans here. Keep the posts coming and spread the word.

Hi. I have a place in N Fort Myers and spend about 2-3 months a year there. I listen to the local rock stations there all the time, No Joe (why?). Everyone I have introduced to him in the area is blown away by his music. Spread the word whatever you do. Enjoy the forum.
