Topic: Just got a GRAMMA

Hey everyone...

Just thought I'd make a plug for the gramma. Started reading up on them after seeing Joe mention it briefly in his rig video. I had already noticed that my amp eq was changing drastically as I went from home to practice to gig, so I was really interested.

Picked one up on amazon for $49 shipped (small one) and just got it past week. I did notice a difference using it in my home on the second floor - I could actually use the bass eq on my amp and add real low end, not just mud.

Took it to practice saturday and also liked the results on the concrete floor.

Was it night and day, blow your mind difference? No. But I do like it, and what other tonal improvement is out there for $50?

Im playing a jb epi through a tweaker on the British hot channel.

Yup. I like mine too. Not jaw dropping difference, but enough to make an extra trip to the car for gigs. cool

If anyone wants a cheap version. Buy a closed cell camping mat. Cut 3 layers and glue together (careful which glue you use), has the same desired affect smile

True, you can make something similar yourself. But for $50, for me, it is worth it to just buy the thing, and skip the trip to home depot smile
