I bid up to $20 but was still outbid by someone. Don't know how high you will need to go, but here's some cool memorabilia for those interested...

Wild Poster - not many of those around I bet. If they are around I bet as Joe becomes more famous more stuff like this will surface.
Some dude is sittin' on that like a hawk. Every time I bid he ups it, think I'll let it chill for awhile. Geez, I wonder what he'd pay for an autographed Bloodline CD???? As if I would ever part with it LOL.
Thinkin' maybe $30.00

interesting...that strat looks to have a tele neck.
I wish some recordings of early kid Smokin' Joe would surface.

I have such a CD - signed by not only Joe but by every member of Bloodline. The coolest Birthday present ever, from the one and only Bonametal Jane, and a mutual friend of ours in Florida, Mikel Peters.
Methinks Joe bought that himself to get that out of sight out of mind.......

It's kind of hard to tell, but my eyesight ain't what it used to be. You never know with his dad Len being the guitar expert that he is, that could be a rare set up. It's interesting that Joe has streamlined his road collection down to 1 vault with about 10 guitars in it this trip.

Hey Stu, I'm new at the e-bay thing. Is it possible to automatically counter bid? The minute I bid it goes up again before I click back. Whattup???
J Dawg
What's happening is someone entered his highest bid $xx.xx and ebay bids on his behalf by proxy. If he bid $50 and the last bid was $25, his proxy bid will then increase to $26 and show you have been outbid. It will continue this way until you finally reach/outbid whatever his bid is. That was he can bid as much as he wants but only have to pay whatever the next-highest bid is, plus $1
Brilliant!!!!!! I wonder how bad he wants it??? It would go nicely with my collection of set lists.
Thanks for the 411,
J Dawg
The strategy is to bid as high as your willing to pay. Your bid will only increment as much as it needs to, up to your highest bid. Or... you can hang back until the auction only has a minute left and then bump your bid to your highest.
Good luck!
I tend to ruin most other things i come in contact with, like the important work paperwork i just spilled coffee on
Or misplace a $6.00 check ! lol Jane, you know I will have to tease you about this for a long.... long.... time! Think you will ever find it?????

This went for over $180. Wow....
I think the seller owes me a cut!
I tried my darnedest to get this, but I saw that we were soon approaching the $200.00 mark, so I had to slam my brakes on.......I saw it framed and everything on my wall.....oh well, maybe another day, another bid...... pattyluvsjoe
Okay, ya' know the old saying "Great minds think alike?" Well, my old buddy Michael Lynch confessed to me yesterday (after coming to the realization of what had transpired) that he & I were the ones bidding against each other for this "Smokin' Joe Treasure!" We have had a really good laugh over this and I am so happy that this gem went to a fabulous home & heart!!!
pattyluvsmichael, too....
Ridiculous price...I think it's a fake auction, not a fake poster. I saw it in the past & no one bid...
Rocket did you read the description? It's a copy of the original that recently sold for $183.00. The opening bid is only $2.99. Well I guess that could be considered a little steep, but let's watch and see what the market will bear. I did bid on the original, but didn't plan on going beyond $50.00.
