Topic: Sayreville. NJ

Just got in from Starland show.

Great.

Highlight came before the show when Joe came out to visit the back of the line waiting to get in.

He seemed astonished at the length of the line.  Shook some hands and took pictures.

Class, real live, genuine class.

This show and Hot August Blues two years ago are definitely my top two favorite Joe shows.

Re: Sayreville. NJ

Great show , really enjoyed BCC.  Glenn Hughes is full of energy .  Had my first meet & greet with Joe and the band .  Joe is first class , nicest guy you could ever meet.  Joe even came outside and took a picture of my truck and signed my dash .

An extra bonus , I got to meet and hang out with the infamous SPIDER - cool dude too. Met some street teamers from Jersey and LA , enjoyed meeting with them .

Counting the days till November when Joe is back with Dust Bowl tour in my area - seeing him in Philly , Albany this fall.

I hope the fame never changes Joe . Joe is very grounded and an awesome guy .

It was great to meet you and Spider! Your truck is now one of a kind..... !

The show was absolutely amazing, I took a few videos of the show from the front row.

And of course, Joe was very nice, great hang before and after the show. I can't wait to see BCC again.. I have never felt such energy from a vocalist! Glenn Hughes maybe in his late 50's, but hell he can still rock out! Age is only a number!

Re: Sayreville. NJ

I went lastnight because I think the world of Joe as a artist. Not so much as a BCC fan but that has all changed. They were great! It was different from  a JB show which is fine. At 53 years old Deep Purple was big for me growing up so it was way cool to see Glenn.
Joe I gotta tell you, that was a brave move to walk out to the line. Fans mean well but you could have been out there a long time if you didn't get moving. It was however a CLASS ACT FROM A CLASS GUY.

Bottem line is I'm very glad I went.

Re: Sayreville. NJ

Not my truck Bill. That was "JB the best there is" truck. Remember the dude with the man crush? wink Definitely fun to talk to!! Yes it was cool to meet people from the forum there, fans and locals to hang out with before the show.

Rocket I thought we had spotted you there a couple of times. I found a cool spot to sit/stand where I could see above the crowd. Sat with a nice local couple. It was a packed full club but everyone was pretty cool and everyone enjoyed the show.

My back is ok but the nerves are giving me muscle spasm fits since I left.

I got lost on my way there but made it home with no problems at all. A Garvin is my next purchase!

Hey Spider, sorry for the confusion, I was referring to his truck! My feet almost fell off by the time I got home, but it was definitely worth it. Hope he is doing ok with the man crush today, LOL! Too funny.. I had a great time hanging out with both of you before the show started.

After the show was funny as well, good times! Hope to catch you at the Beacon, I'll be there.

Hope everyone has seen BCC if they had the chance! You will not regret it.. !
