Topic: Joe's Pedal Board Signal Path

Has anyone mapped out Joe's signal path?  I know he has the Jubilee on all the time and his amp switcher pairs the Jubilee with each of the other three amps.  My setup is a Marshall Class 5 and a Fender Blues Deluxe with an AB 100 switcher to pair the amps or run them individually.  I like the sound of the two amps together.  Neither of my amps have an effects loop so I have to run the delay and Boss Rotary effect up front.  The path I'm currently using is as follows.

JB Les Paul Studio # 370 to Vox Wah
Wah to AB Switcher
Amp A out to copper Fuzz Face
Fuzz Face to Tube Screamer
Tube Screamer Boss DD3 delay
Boss DD3 Delay to Marshall Class 5

Amp B to Boss Blues Driver
Blues Driver to Boss Compressor
Compressor to Boss Rotary effect
Boss Rotary Effect to Fender Blues Deluxe

I keep the Blues deluxe clean with Reverb and the compressor always on and the Marshall dimed. I keep the Fender always on and add the Marshall when needed.  So far I think this setup is OK but I'm still experimenting with the signal path.  I've looked at Joe's pedal board video's on YouTube but I'm not sure were he has the switcher in the signal path.  Does he have different effects between the switcher or is eevrything up front of the switcher?  I know he also has the delay and rotory effect on the effects loop.  I'm open to any suggestion or idea's different methods of setting up the signal path.

Best regards

John

I believe, but don't quote me on this....that he has everything in front of all the amps except for the fuzz face is the only thing that runs into his Category 5 (Marshall Superlead)....That is the way I have understood his set up, but I could be wrong..

Re: Joe's Pedal Board Signal Path

In a Guitar World issue from about a year or so ago, they featured Joe's rig on the back page. Every month the magazine details someone's rig under the title of "An awesome display of power" or something like that. They detail the guitars, amps, pedals and signal paths. It's a fairly recent update as Joe had gone wireless when the article was run. Not home now so I can't tell you what issue it was in.

Major Tom to ground control...
