I didn't upload but found it and thought it sounded good. I was for the most part standing in front of Warren at the FOH board. I wanted to get the full mix. I thought it sounded great considering there is so much going on during the show. Glenn and Jason are pretty busy if you know what I mean. smile Joe was loud and clear both guitar and vocals. I thought the tone of every guitar was great. Some times I have favorite tones from different guitars but that night everything sounded good for the 59 to the flying V and Music Man guitars. Glenn's bass was not too loud back where I was. Derek was mixed well too.

I went up in the balcony and lost a little bottom end but the it still sounded good up there the last couple of songs.

I swear if there is nothing gained from this venture other than the few songs Joe contributed and the quality of his vocals that have happened in the last year. Then this project has been time well spent. Song of Yesterday and Hadrian's wall are to me Joe classics.

As I have said before I wasn't keen on this project but seeing it live was worth the effort.  Seeing Joe outside of his comfort zone is always a treat because he can play some amazing stuff off the cuff.

The crew did an amazing job with a small stage and house sound system to work with. Salt Lake cam through with a good crowd.

OK, thanks for the clarification. My vantage was dominated by the raw amp output on stage and skewed as such. I could hear in Rocket's video that the mix was much better away from down front, even 8 feet back from stage front was a remarkable difference. The three new songs, Faithless, TBFHW, and Cold are leading my utube views by a large margin compared to the rest in the show. See my post on the main page re demographics. This is going somewhere!

The opening 15 minutes, finishing up with the great Crossfire. The audio is down in the mix for vocals due to close proximity to the stage and the overpowering bass from the Laneys at 10 feet.

You realize you posted San Diego video in a Salt Lake City review? lol All that heavy duty rock and roll scrambled the ol' hard drive, huh?! big_smile No biggie, I was just thinking you were on a major roll that was going to possibly hit all 8 US of A dates!!! We sure would like to, huh! nevertheless, thanks, great stuff.

A bit addled after two shows and 30 hours of vid processing and uploads. I'll move it. Thanks Rocket.

... a big addled you say there Rick?!  Hey, you're a pro!  Thanks for all the vids and uploads, I know from watching you exactly how long this takes.  This was a great 15 minutes of opening, with Crossfire finishing it out with those huge riffs ... major chair dancing going on at this point (or were we still standing?) ... anyway, impossible to be still with these guys playing!

Sandy

I know a place ....

Yeah, that was when the entire front row of seats started to rock back and forth. I'm trying to hold the camera steady and all of a sudden I'm thinking EARTHQUAKE! Nope, A BCCQUAKE!
