Anybody here have Johnny Gales' 'Gale Force' album?

I can't find this anywhere - google, record sites, etc.

That's because I accidently added an 's', it's Johnny Gale, and you can find it on Amazon. Sorry about that!

Re: Here is an unheralded monster player

Here's another great player I'd recommend. Steve Fister , who's released 6 solo records. He annually tours Europe and the US in support of each release. Some past credts include recording and touring with The Pat Travers Band, The Lita Ford Band,  John Kay & Steppenwolf, and bass master Stu Hamm. Really tasty stuff, and his albums have included appearances by Gregg Bissonette (Carlos Santana, Ray Charles), Tony Franklin (The Firm) Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani), Tommy Aldridge (Ozzy Osbourne), Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets). Eddie Tuduri (Dwight Yoakam, Marianne Faithfull), and Carmine Appice (Jeff Beck, Cactus), Derek St Holmes(Ted Nugent), Reese Wynans(Double Trouble) and Alvino Bennet(Robin Trower).

Tony's a good player definitely, and I dig his style but his vocals were a bit too high pitched for my taste. Of course that was 14 years ago, perhaps his voice has broken by now? wink Seriously though, his vocals sounded more like a hair band vocalist than what I prefer on a blues rock album. Very talented player nonetheless.

HI - Anyone heard of Micheal Hornbuckle - young guy from Colorado?

Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind.  Mick Jagger

Re: Here is an unheralded monster player

yeah, Michael Hornbuckle is a great player.  I've seen him live a couple times and played with him.  he once played in a band with Vince Converse, who is another monster player to check out.  I urge everyone to go to amazon.com and buy "one step ahead", an amazing blues/rock record by Vince Converse.

Also another incredible player to check out is Mitch Chmara.  www.mitchchmara.com

here are some vids of him.
