Topic: Coinkydink! Hey Roy.

While cruising the local watering hole list for some cheap live entertainment, I came across a place that has some live Blues in a very informal setting. Jakes Tiki Bar and Deli. I googled it to get the lowdown and what came up????? Jakes Tiki Bar in .....Menomonee Falls Wisconsin!!! yikes  Now what is the chance of finding a Tiki Bar in a place like that, much less one with the same name as one in San Diego, a spot much more likely to have one, in the hometown of a certain poster on this forum???? Well blow me down!

I love it Rocket. Never heard that before. We're going down and hang out on Sunday for a super casual afternoon with Sandy at Jakes Tiki Bar and Deli on Quivira Rd. The Stoney B Blues Band is playing open air. Come on down if the mood strikes ya. Drinks on me. http://www.reverbnation.com/thestoneybbluesband http://missionbaydeli.com/

Re: Coinkydink! Hey Roy.

Close Rick, but the wrong "Menomonee" Falls . I believe you found Jake's Tiki Bar in "Menomonie", Wisconsin at this location: http://www.jakessupperclub.com/index.cfm/event/tiki/

Menomonie, Wisconsin is just outside of Eau Claire which is more in the northwestern part of the State. Menomonee Falls is just northwest of the city of Milwaukee which is on Lake Michigan. I guess the Native Americans on that side of the state spelled the word a little differently, probably a different tribe. It does lead to some confusion, especially to people visiting. smile

Re: Coinkydink! Hey Roy.

Who'd figure there would be TWO places with a name like that. Here's your chance to open another and be the first in your area. Maybe right next to a golf course. wink
