Went to see JST in Sheffield last night. Most impressed, one of the best gigs I've seen all year (Only been to four though...)
Nice to see musicians enjoying themselves on stage.
has heard ' unofficially' that our host is attending at Islington 31st May
Got some great shots from Manchester....Will try to sort a couple out tomorrow
Here you go............see what you think of these.

I went to the O2 at Islington last night to catch the last night of the tour. I was almost totally wrecked after driving down from three days at the utterly brilliant Hebden Bridge Blues Festival where P-A-U-L played a fantastic set and jammed with the Paddy McGuire Band at the end of the last day. As I dozed on the train up to town I wondered if I would make it to the O2 at all! Some very kind person had left a spare ticket at the door which was passed onto me
The place was already packed for P-a-U-L's set which was going down a storm. When Joanne, Paul and Layla came on the atmosphere went electric, completely recharged my batteries and what a treat. The sound set up for Joanne's vocals was better than I have ever heard. Joanne's playing was superb last night and the dynamic between her, Paul and Layla was mesmerising. I only wish i had had the chance to see Virgil jam with them Ian, that must have been something else.
After the show I caught up with Joey and Paul at the merchandise table but we were 'encouraged to leave' before Joanne could make an appearance to sign all the albums bought. This was a pity as there were obviously new fans there waiting to see Joanne. I caught up with Joanne and Layla at the stage door as I left to tackle London Transport home knowing that I had experienced something really special. I am already a big fan of Joanne but I was glad that I was there last night and nowhere else
Maggie
I was very impressed with Joanne seeing her support BCC in Wolverhampton last December. Looking at her tour page she's one very busy lady and it's a shame that there was nowhere close to home otherwise I'm sure we'd have got tickets.
Maggie - you must be one tired bunny today!
We're finally getting our turn this Sunday afternoon, lounging in the sun in a delightful little park in the center of Hagerstown, Md. I really am SO looking forward to seeing Joanne live again, it's been far too long!

G Dawg, that little park may have been where Robert E. Lee assembled his troops for the battle at Antietem back in 1862 according a show I saw on History Channel last night. Hagerstown was a staging area. I'd rather see a music festival staged anytime instead, you and Cathy have a blast, what a line up. Tell your Dutch neighbor Ronnie Jonker hello from J Dawg from Ana's Winters & SF shows.
