Re: New pedal Day! Epic Cornish delay content....

"Damn you" Jakey! Now I have to call Mr. Cornish again! His pedals are something else. I still remember when I got my SS-3 and P-2 (after waiting 18 months!): Being a Gilmour-gear-head for years, it was almost a religious experience when I opened the package and held them in my hands for the first time.....

Congrats and please report back when you have used it for a few days (any recording will be much appreciated!).

Keep rocking!

Re: New pedal Day! Epic Cornish delay content....

I have just played it. I GET IT. I UNDERSTAND!

The Delay is MASSIVE- simply huge. It's difficult to describe, but it's like the reverb behind it, the space, rather than the echo or delay.

And, it's got lots of purty lights.

Re: New pedal Day! Epic Cornish delay content....

What does the pedal do (except adding "normal" delay). What is the T Tx4 doing to the signal? Is this a all-in-one-pedal like the pedal board build David use where the delays are run in paralell with the clean signal and blended before it hits the amp?

Looking forward to a short demo wink

In order:

1. It's internally parallel mixed, yes, and has a Cornish buffer throughout.
2. T T x 4. OK- basically this is used to 'finish a song'- so set the delay to Tx4- which is 4 x slower than T. Then, you get to the end of the song, and swtich to t, thus removing the last trail offs. Or, you can switch from slap back (T) for rhyth, and Tx4 to long delay for solos. (note- the light for Tx4 is an awesome LED pink- worth sticking to Tx4 just for this alone!!)
3. Speed and Depth- this covers tape warble, and also does a darned good Leslie/Chorus sound on a short delay.
4. Dry Kill- this is an option I asked for, in case I want layered Parallel Mixing.
5. Khz knob- works from Tape Echo (1Khz) to Digital (4Khz)
6. Clips- on their way!

After playing it last night I have never heard a bigger echo. it's simply huge.
