Topic: I've been listening to Blues guitar for 40 years

I've got them all. With 100GB of music, I've probably got something by anyone who's played the blues/rock guitar.
Joe is something out of the box . . .
Sorry, keep loosing track of my thoughts, Joe's playing through the phones . . .
Thanks Joe . . .

Not too much grey hair yet, only in my beard . . . smile
Got to say that Prisoner of Dust Bowl is currently my most favourite track

Re: I've been listening to Blues guitar for 40 years

Someone was introducing a couple of weeks ago and said they had been playing blues guitar for 35 years. I thought they were trying for some Guiness Book of Records thing.

Hugh has been listening for 40 now. Must get a bit like Tinnitus after that time. Not that I would say that Joe's music is similar to any kind of aural interference.......ooooh nooooooo.

But I know what you mean Hugh and welcome by the way.

100GB of music. Have you ever thought about starting at the beginning and slowly working your way through it all - again? I guess that would be the 40 years right there all over again.

I started to do with my vinyl, leaving a note in it about where and when I bought it and why. Just in case my daughter might be interested ( she won't be). My god I bought some rubbish back in the day. Interesting though were all the liner notes with who played what, pruduced and so on.

Oh dear. I'm rambling. 'Dustbowl' - gotta plump for 'ain't no love..........', but I know whatcha mean about 'Prisoner'

No Hits, No Hype.......................Classic Rock Jan 2012

Thanks for the Welcome, yes some music doesn't get heard for a while but still there are times when I just have to listen to a particular and it's nice to know I can find it pretty quickly.

I sure don't have 100GB of only Joe smile I do have 1.35GB (11) albums by Joe, which I guess is not bad as it means that nearly 1.5% of my music is Joe's . . . lol
