I talked to the folks at the local guitar shop and they recommended the Music Nomad polish which I bought and used.

The polish did not react to the nitro (as advertised) and reduced the gumminess feeling of the neck dramatically.

The more I play it, the more i love this guitar.

Glad you found a good polish. Seriously I do use S100 Detail & Wax. It's fantastic on guitars and doesn't react with nitro or any other finish!
